Crash course for swimming diplomas B and C
At the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool in Alkmaar, we offer a unique opportunity for your child to obtain their B or C swimming certificate in a short period of time. During school holidays, we organise an intensive course at De Hout swimming pool where your child can obtain their B certificate within 3 days and their C certificate within 5 days. We believe in the power of swimming and want to let your child enjoy this wonderful sport as quickly as possible. Hopefully we may welcome your child during our intensive course!
De Hout Swimming Pool
Our crash courses are taught in De Hout swimming pool. It is an intensive course during which your child receives lessons for several hours a day. We therefore do everything we can to prepare your child as well as possible for the exam.
However, achieving a swimming certificate is no guarantee. Every child develops at their own pace and faces their own challenges. Naturally, our instructors are always ready to guide and support the child in achieving their certificate. We strive to give the child as much individual attention as possible to increase the chance of success.

Mind outYou can only enrol your child 2 weeks before the start of the school holidays. If your child is not yet taking swimming lessons with Alkmaar Sport, you will pay a one-off fee of €6 for the lesson pass. Enrolments are processed in order of receipt, so be quick.
