Water festival
The Water Festival lessons are specially designed as a first step towards swimming certificates. During these playful and safe lessons, your child is made water-confident. This means they become familiar with...
At the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool and De Hout swimming pool, we use a modern pupil-tracking system, which allows parents to closely follow their children's swimming progress. This system offers a valuable tool for staying involved in your child's learning process.
The Pupil Tracking System is made up of three clear icons that show your child's progress. The first icon, in bright orange, indicates that your child does not yet fully master a specific exercise. The second icon, a grey smiley face with a closed mouth, means that progress has been made, but that some extra practice is needed before the skill is fully mastered. Finally, the yellow smiley face with a smiling, open mouth shows that your child has fully mastered the exercise in question.
We would like to emphasise that children do not learn new skills every week, which is why the system is not updated weekly. You can easily open the pupil tracking system via the home screen of our swimming app and also via the online environment of Alkmaar Sport.
This system enables parents to closely monitor the development of their children and gives them peace of mind, knowing that there is a structured approach to acquiring swimming skills. We are proud of the transparency and convenience that our Pupil Tracking System offers, and we are convinced that it contributes to a positive swimming experience for both parents and children.
