Mid-stream swimming lessons
At swimming pool Hoornse Vaart in Alkmaar, we also offer swimming lessons for lateral entrants. These are children who have already taken swimming lessons elsewhere, but for various reasons want to switch to swimming lessons at our pool. Perhaps you have moved and are looking for a new local swimming pool, or the costs at the previous swim school have become too high. It is also possible that your child was not making sufficient progress at the previous swim school and you are looking for a new approach.
Fast-track entry
You can come to us for trial lessons to determine your child's swimming ability. Based on these trial lessons, we determine which group best suits your child. The advantage of lateral entry swimming lessons is that your child can join the appropriate group for him or her more quickly. This allows your child to progress rapidly to the next level and ensures continuity in taking swimming lessons.
The costs for the lateral-entry swimming lessons depend on the level at which your child is placed. If your child is already more advanced, you will therefore pay a lower rate and do not need to take out the entire lesson package! This means you only pay for the remaining lessons needed to bring your child to the desired level. This saves you both time and money.

It is important to know that we also offer the same quality and attention to career changers as we do for our regular swimming lessons. We strive to teach children to swim in a playful and safe way, thereby increasing their enjoyment in the water.
