Hoornse Vaart swimming pool has been a household name in Alkmaar and the surrounding area for over 40 years. Our swimming pool is not only the most extensive pool in North Holland, but also a place where young and old can enjoy water fun and relaxation together.

Affordable swimming fun

Hoornse Vaart swimming pool is a popular swimming location in Alkmaar and offers a wide range of swimming options at reasonable prices. With no fewer than six different pools, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The unique 50-metre pool is not only used as a training and competition venue by swimming clubs, but is also a favourite spot for recreational swimmers looking to improve their swimming technique.

Extended opening hours

The swimming pool is open seven days a week and offers plenty of opportunities for aquafitness classes. Moreover, every week more than 2,000 children swimming lesson of our enthusiastic and experienced instructors. Our swimming lessons are taught according to the Zwem-ABC, a recognised national qualification that guarantees good swimming skills.
