Due to the annual swimming tests and emergency response (BHV) and first aid (EHBO) training, the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool will be closed on Monday 17 August. We will reopen on Tuesday 18 August according to our normal opening hours.
Body, Mind & Breath area
Even helemaal tot rust komen? In de Body, Mind & Breath area van zwembad Hoornse Vaart draait alles om ontspannen, herstellen en bewust ademen. Deze rustige buitenruimte is ingericht voor bezoekers die na het zwemmen nog even willen ontspannen of op een laagdrempelige manier een moment voor zichzelf zoeken. De Body, Mind & Breath area is op vaste momenten gratis te gebruiken. Daarnaast is de Hot Barrel ook privé te gebruiken, buiten de gratis momenten om. Bij de balie is een zak met benodigdheden verkrijgbaar om de houtgestookte Hot Barrel zelf aan te steken.
Heerlijk ontspannen
In de Body, Mind & Breath area vind je verschillende faciliteiten die helpen om lichaam en hoofd tot rust te brengen. Je kunt gebruikmaken van het blotevoetenpad, de houtgestookte Hot Barrel en de rietgedekte zitjes met parasols.
De combinatie van warmte, buitenlucht en rust maakt deze plek ideaal om even te vertragen. Bijvoorbeeld na een zwemsessie, na het sporten of gewoon als moment voor jezelf.
Gratis gebruik
Op verschillende momenten in de week is de Body, Mind & Breath area gratis toegankelijk voor bezoekers van zwembad Hoornse Vaart. Je kunt dan gebruikmaken van de aanwezige faciliteiten en in alle rust ontspannen.

Privé gebruik van de Hot Barrel
Wil je de Hot Barrel in alle rust gebruiken? Dat kan ook privé. De Hot Barrel is de hele week en op iedere dag privé te gebruiken, buiten de gratis momenten om.
Na een gratis moment kan de Hot Barrel vanaf één uur later privé gebruikt worden. Zo is er voldoende tijd voor bezoekers van het gratis moment om de ruimte te verlaten.
Bij de balie koop je voor € 6,50 een zak met benodigdheden om de houtgestookte Hot Barrel zelf aan te steken. Daarna kun je ontspannen zolang de Hot Barrel aangenaam warm blijft.
Stoomcabine
Naast de Body, Mind & Breath area beschikt zwembad Hoornse Vaart ook over een stoomcabine. Deze bevindt zich binnen in het zwembad en is toegankelijk tijdens de reguliere openingstijden.
De stoomcabine is een fijne aanvulling op je bezoek aan het zwembad. De warme stoom helpt je ontspannen en kan prettig zijn na het zwemmen of sporten. Zo sluit je je bezoek aan zwembad Hoornse Vaart ontspannen af.
