Body, Mind & Breath area
Looking to completely unwind? In the Body, Mind & Breath area at the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool, it's all about relaxation, recovery and conscious breathing. This tranquil outdoor space is designed for visitors who want to relax after swimming or are looking for an accessible moment to themselves. The Body, Mind & Breath area is free to use at set times. In addition, the Hot Barrel is also available for private hire outside of the free time slots. A bag of supplies to light the wood-fired Hot Barrel yourself is available at reception.
Wondrously relaxed
In the Body, Mind & Breath area you will find various facilities that help to calm both body and mind. You can make use of the barefoot path, the wood-fired Hot Barrel and the thatched seating areas with parasols.
The combination of warmth, fresh air and tranquillity makes this place ideal for slowing down a little. For example after a swimming session, after working out or simply as a moment for yourself.
Free use
At various times during the week, the Body, Mind & Breath area is accessible free of charge to visitors of the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool. You can then make use of the available facilities and relax in complete peace.

Private use of the Hot Barrel
Would you like to use the Hot Barrel in peace and quiet? That is also possible privately. The Hot Barrel can be used privately the whole week and every day, outside of the free time slots.
Following a free session, the Hot Barrel is available for private hire from one hour later. This allows visitors from the free session sufficient time to leave the area.
At the reception desk, you can buy a bag of supplies for €6.50 to light the wood-fired Hot Barrel yourself. After that, you can relax for as long as the Hot Barrel stays comfortably warm.
Steam shower cabin
In addition to the Body, Mind & Breath area, swimming pool Hoornse Vaart also features a steam room. This is located indoors at the pool and is accessible during regular opening hours.
The steam room is a great addition to your visit to the swimming pool. The warm steam helps you to relax and can be very pleasant after swimming or working out. It is a relaxing way to conclude your visit to the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool.
