Water play area
The Water Playground in swimming pool Hoornse Vaart in Alkmaar has been specially designed for our youngest visitors. Here, toddlers and young children can safely get acquainted with water. The playground offers plenty of fun with various water pumps, small fountains, mini slides and other fun features. All in shallow water of about 30 centimetres deep. This allows children to play and discover in complete freedom.
Discover all the animals
In the Water Playground, various animals can be found, such as a monkey, elephant, snake, fish and pelican. This makes it not only fun to play with water, but also to discover and explore the different animals. In addition, the temperature of the water in the Water Playground is pleasantly warm, namely 32 degrees Celsius. This way, children can still enjoy water fun even when the weather is slightly less favourable. Alongside our popular Water Playground, we have a baby changing station specially for the little ones.
