50-metre pool

The 50-metre swimming pool is ideal for swimmers who like to swim long distances and do lane swimming. The pool is frequently used for lane swimming and (aquafitness) activities that we organise. In addition, the pool is also hired out as a training camp and as a competition venue for various swimming clubs.

Time your swim

The pool features MyLaps loops. These measure your swimming time and speed. Above the pool hangs an LED screen on which you can see, among other things, your swimming speed and distance when swimming with a MyLaps transponder. This offers swimmers extra motivation to perform even better and break their own personal bests.

The 50-metre pool features a boom. During recreational swimming, the boom lies flat on the bottom. When, for example, two swimming activities take place at the same time, the boom is raised. This divides the pool into two halves of 25 metres each, allowing swimming to take place safely and efficiently.

Always plenty of jobs

During the school holidays, there is often an inflatable obstacle course in the 50-metre pool. We feel it is important to keep enough lanes available for our lane swimmers. Therefore, lanes always remain open for swimming lengths.

The temperature of the 50-metre pool is pleasant, namely 27 degrees Celsius. This ensures a comfortable swimming experience, both during lane swimming and during the other activities the pool organises.
