Disco swimming
It is time to show off your dance moves during disco swimming at the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool in Alkmaar! Once a month, the pool is transformed into a true dance floor, featuring a new theme and great music. Whether you want to swim or dance, it is all possible during this festive swimming event.
A different theme every month
Disco swimming is specially intended for children up to and including the age of 13. It takes place in the wave pool, the 25-metre pool and the water playground, and lasts from 19:00 to 21:00. There is something for everyone and you won't be bored for a single moment! The theme is changed every time and the swimming pool is completely decorated to match it. For example, you might find yourself swimming around in a pirate costume or dancing among the balloons in a circus tent.
The only thing you need to take part in the disco swimming is a swimming certificate or supervision by an adult. That way, the little ones can also safely enjoy the party.
In short, disco swimming is the ultimate way to spend your Saturday evening in Alkmaar. With a new theme every month and great music, you won't be bored for a single moment. Disco swimming is a party for everyone!
Celebrate a fabulous children's party!
It is also possible to celebrate your children's party during the disco. If you come with six people or more to celebrate a birthday party, the birthday child will even receive free admission and a snack package as a gift! Children's parties begin at 18:00 with food and at 19:00 the music turns on. Please note that on the day of the disco, you can no longer book a children's party after 15:00. Therefore, book in good time via the Alkmaar Sport online platform so that you can be sure your birthday party will be a resounding success!

Disco swimming costs
- Starter£8.10 per child. One parent or supervisor may accompany each child for free. Additional parents or supervisors pay the admission price of £8.10.
- Children's party including snack package: €15.60 per child. The birthday child gets in for free!
