Due to the annual swimming tests and emergency response (BHV) and first aid (EHBO) training, the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool will be closed on Monday 17 August. We will reopen on Tuesday 18 August according to our normal opening hours.
Snorkelling
Snorkelen is een leuke en avontuurlijke manier om de onderwaterwereld te ontdekken. Tijdens de lessen leer je op een veilige en verantwoorde manier te snorkelen en kun je snorkeldiploma’s halen.
De snorkellessen zijn bedoeld voor kinderen tot 13 jaar die minimaal diploma A en B hebben. Tijdens de lessen leer je onder andere hoe je op de juiste manier te water gaat, hoe je voorwerpen van de bodem kunt opduiken en hoe je onder water een zwembril kunt opzetten. Daarnaast leer je ook omgaan met een snorkel en hoe je op de juiste manier ademhaalt. Het is belangrijk om te weten hoe je goed kunt ademhalen onder water, zodat je veilig en comfortabel kunt snorkelen.
Ontdek de onderwaterwereld
Bij zwembad Hoornse Vaart kun je afzwemmen voor snorkeldiploma 1, 2 en 3. Elk diploma is weer iets uitdagender dan het vorige. Na het behalen van diploma 1 ben je bekwaam in het snorkelen met een snorkelset en kun je bijvoorbeeld op een veilige manier duiken. Diploma 2 en 3 zijn iets gevorderder en vereisen meer vaardigheden, zoals het snorkelen met een buddy, het zwemmen door een hoepel en het maken van een salto.
De lessen worden gegeven in kleine groepen en er is ervaren begeleiding aanwezig om ervoor te zorgen dat de lessen veilig en verantwoord verlopen. Dus als je op een leuke en avontuurlijke manier de onderwaterwereld wilt ontdekken, schrijf je dan snel in voor de snorkellessen bij zwembad Hoornse Vaart.
