Celebrate Alkmaar Sport’s 10th anniversary with an Outdoor Sports Day at Outdoorpark Alkmaar

Published on: 1 July 2024

Celebrate 10th anniversary of Alkmaar Sport with a spectacular Outdoor Sports Day at Outdoorpark Alkmaar! On Saturday 20 July, Outdoorpark Alkmaar, together with the sports directors, is opening its doors for a day full of adventure and fun. From 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, children aged 6 to 14 can climb and scramble to their hearts' content in the adventurous park for just €3. And if that is not enough, for an extra €2 visitors can also enjoy a lovely swim in Hoornse Vaart swimming pool and for €1 you can take part in various clinics.

10-journey ticket

With the special 10-year punch card, Outdoorpark Alkmaar challenges you to complete all the tasks. Have you ticked everything off? Then you have a chance to win an Obstacle Run Clinic for no fewer than 10 people! Tom Leering, coordinator at Outdoorpark Alkmaar, is enthusiastic about the Outdoor Sports Day and the 10-punch card: “We want to give children the chance to discover various obstacles in a playful way. The Outdoor Sports Day is the perfect moment to enjoy everything the park has to offer together.”

Diverse clinics

In addition, Alkmaar Sport is organising three clinics in collaboration with local trainers (Flag Football, Archery Tag and Dance) that are all about adventure and discovery. You can take part in a clinic for just €1 (you do need an entrance ticket for the park, though). Sign up quickly via Alkmaar Actief and secure your spot! Please note: do you not have a swimming certificate? Then make sure your parents supervise by the water's edge.

10 years of Alkmaar Sport

During the anniversary year 2024, Alkmaar Sport is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Throughout the year, fun, sporty and inspiring activities are being organised for everyone to take part in. In addition, 10 special anniversary promotions are being highlighted, where people can benefit from extra discounts or prizes. Throughout the year, money is being raised for the children's ward of the Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep during the activities and within the sports complexes of Alkmaar.
