Outdoorpark Alkmaar goes indoors during the Christmas holidays

Outdoorpark Alkmaar is ringing in the Christmas holidays in a unique way with a series of indoor activities in the adjacent Hoornse Vaart sports complex. Especially for the cold month of December, the fun is being moved from outdoors to indoors. From sporting games to thrilling video games, there is plenty of adventure to be had for every child between the ages of 8 and 14. Fantastic outdoor year

“Last season at Outdoorpark Alkmaar was so fantastic that we didn’t really want to say goodbye to all the activities and the fun,” says Tom Leering, coordinator of Outdoorpark Alkmaar. “Fortunately, we can hold on to this feeling thanks to our partnership with the Hoornse Vaart swimming pool. We are heading into the festive season with a playful and adventurous programme that promises the perfect start to the new year. 2025 promises to be another wonderful outdoor year full of children’s parties, school trips, corporate away days and much, much more!”

Diverse range

During the Christmas holidays, Outdoorpark Alkmaar is offering a diverse activities programme. Children can let off steam with the iconic ‘Farmer and Rascals’ game, exciting rounds of dodgeball, laser tag, the James Bond game, or take part in a tough Nerf battle. Afterwards, for just €2, there is the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, where the Hoornse Vaart is putting on a splashing programme including a 15-metre-long inflatable obstacle course and an Experience Center. The activities take place in the sports hall of the Hoornse Vaart sports complex, with three different choices per day. For just €10, children can take part in the ‘Farmer and Rascals’ game, the James Bond game or dodgeball. Laser tag and Nerf fans pay €15 per activity.
